* Responsible for greeting and registering guests in a polite and friendly manner
* Deal with customer questions and requests
* Allocate rooms and issue appropriate keys
* Keep up to date of daily check in and check outs
* Arrange for special services as requested by guests
* Assist the reservations department as and when necessary
* Keep up to date on current room availability
* Be aware of which duty manager is on duty in the event of a problem
* Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues and management
* Handle complaints effectively and politely
* To take relevant department bookings
* To take room and service payments
* All other associated tasks |
