| Job Requirements: | Zamil Industrial Investment Co. is in need for PROJECT MANAGER for Cool Care to Plan and organize the execution of the Project’s different activities in order to ensure all Project’s / contract’s deliverables are accomplished in compliance with the Company and Customer’s standards and objectives.
Ideal applicants should meet the following basic requirements:
• A Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years relevant experience with at least 2 years in a Project Manager role.
Responsibilities would include:
• Organize the preparation, in conjunction with the Planning & Material team, and communication of the project plans (e.g. scope of work, work breakdown structure, resource planning etc.) to all relevant parties.
• Oversee the execution of the relevant activities and continuously monitor the progress of the project against the Project Plan.
• Organize the preparation of the Project’s progress reports for submission to the relevant parties.
• Coordinate and chair the meeting with the Project Team and other relevant parties on project status and issues / risk management.
• Organize the project Handover and meet with the customer / client for sign off.
• Monitor and control the cost of the project on a continuous basis.
• Make adjustments to the cost estimates in case of unexpected expenditure increase due to external factors and inform the management on the realistic cost of the project at the various stages.
• Monitor all receivables on hand and follow up pending payments.
• Do follow ups with the clients / customers on receivables in order to timely acquire payment.
• Prepare reports on pending receivables for proper monitoring and reference of management.
• Share knowledge and experience with the team(s) and provide feedback, guidance and assistance.
• Identify training needs of staff and organize appropriate training to meet the training needs and improve performance standards.
• Lead in the appraisal of Project staff to assess their effectiveness in meeting current and future needs and contribute in the succession planning to sustain the effectiveness of the team(s).
