| Job Description: | Reporting directly to the Foreman – Maintenance Department, the job attends to all production job requests for corrective works and ensures that the machine is good working condition. It shall likewise repair all hand tools and standby equipment. |
| Job Requirements: | Zamil Industrial Investment Co. is in need for Mechanic in Zamil Steel - Structural Steel Division. Ideal applicants should meet the following basic requirements:
• Minimum secondary school diploma, ITI diploma in Mechanical or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years working experience as Mechanic or any equivalent position in automotive function.
• Must have hands-on exposure or experiences in Automotive Maintenance.
Responsibilities would include:
• Carries out the works order as per Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
• Files and reports the works of calibration.
• Consults with the immediate head for troubleshooting or corrective actions as and when needed
• Coordinates and communicate with the Production for repair and PPM work schedules.
• Observes properly the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, face masks and the like while inside the shop-floor.
• Carries out repairs as per job request.
• Ensures the machine is repaired and is in good working condition.
• Hands over the machine to production as soon as the repair is completed.
• Immediately notifies the immediate head for any incidence of damage in the machine.
Skills
• Knowledge of machines and tools including their designs, uses, benefits, repair and maintenance.
• Average Communication Skills in English Language
• Skill in Equipment Maintenance and Selection
• Ability to identify nature of problems and troubleshooting
• Awareness of Health & Safety Environment Practices
• High Degree of Flexibility.
• Physical Dexterity
